Today

Fun abounds!

The weather is warm; my flat leaf parsley has gone to seed.

Today I have washed socks, finished reading Joe Orton's What the Butler Saw, and watched Richard Brooks' 1962 movie of Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth. (Advertised in 1962 as "Provocative Adult Entertainment" - my, my, times have changed.)

Any Paul Newman fans out there? Either of his acting, or his spaghetti sauces?

I always enjoyed his pasta sauces. He donates money from them to charity you know.

Sorry to hear about the parsley. We planted Kangaroo Paw in our garden- which grows in the DESERT, for goodness sake- and it STILL died. Oh me oh my.

Is it possible to go past Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid?? Man, I love that movie...

Also, he has an excellent salad dressing, it's not the Caesar one, I can't remember which one it is but I highly recommend it, whichever one it is... I'll research it at the supermarket and get back to you...

Herbs are fragile little beings, sorry for your loss.

How was the wedding? Guess we'll hear all about it tonight?

For anyone who pops by and reads these comments, the wedding wasn't mine.

My first wife and I are very happy.
